Required Skillset
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (with a technical focus), ideally in the fields of plastics engineering / process engineering, or in any business discipline – a graduate degree (MBA) would be desirable. Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, and general management in a manufacturing environment within the automotive industry is required for this role. Aspirants must have a proven track record in managing ideally a medium-sized company or business unit with P&L responsibility. Deep knowledge in advanced production technologies such as in mechatronics and plastics/process engineering would be an advantage. Prior experience working in a production facility with high level Quality Management Systems (QMS) is strongly preferred.

This executive will be primarily responsible for the site and manufacturing management as well as in sales and business development activities including production, quality, logistics, tool-making, and project management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and guide the growth of the company within the North American automotive market and shape its corporate direction in the region.
